Located at the Music Factory, between VBGB and The Fillmore, and owned by the same couple as VBGB, this multi-use venue is about to be Charlotte’s new hot spot. They have been open 9 weeks so far, and killing it!
With some of the best pizza in town, their menu offers a variety of gourmet pizzas, cauliflower crust pizzas (surprisingly amazing, I recommend the buffalo chicken), pommes frites (with 21 different dipping sauces, think White Bama BBQ & Garlic Parm Buffalo), meatballs and cauli-balls. We were all amazed how flavorful everything we tried was and the freshness of the ingredients.
With a walk-up window for that late night guilty pleasure, a pizzeria,
and 2 main bars, there is no lack of seating to get your taste of this pizza heaven. The bars also feature 4 Craft Cocktails on Draft, Prosecco on draft, Pure Intentions Cold Brew Coffee on draft and featured cocktail list with Bursting Boba Cocktail drink fun, a full bar, 14 great bottled beers, large selection of hi-end Bourbons and Whiskeys and full array of Wines by the glass and bottle.
In additional to the food and drink, 8.2.0 offers a wide variety of entertainment including an old-fashioned arcade room and decked out karaoke lounge. There is also a large event space with private bars that can be rented out with a capacity to hold 250 and is great for wedding receptions or corporate events. The last room of the venue is hidden, and I challenge you to go try to find your way in, a old fashioned library bar.
I can’t wait to go back to 8.2.0 very soon and bring a group of friends with me to enjoy the food, drink and atmosphere that is guaranteed to please everyone in your crew.
