Broccoli Crunch Salad

This is great to bring to a cookout, or make on Sunday to bring for lunch during the week. PS sorry mom, sharing another #familyrecipe




  • 2 large heads broccoli
  • 1/2 lb. bacon – fried & crumbled (1 cup) *I used diced pancetta from TJs
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese – shredded
  • 1 small red onion – sliced thin (1 1/2 cup)


  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 TBSP red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar


  1. Combine salad ingredients & store in refrigerator
  2. Combine dressing ingredients
  3. Before serving, toss salad ingredients with dressing (go easy on the dressing add more as needed)
  4. Garnish with cooked bacon bits
